Meet the Members:

Randee Bereece Randee Bereece is the founding chairperson of the West Point Arts Council which was officially formed in 2023! She has lived in West Point for ten years and grew up right next door in Syracuse. She attended Clearfield High School where she performed in the band (oboe), jazz band (piano), pep band (bass drums/conductor) and accompanied the theater programs. She received her Bachelor of Music Degree from Utah State University where she studied piano and guitar pedagogy, choral conducting, and composition. One of the coolest jobs she ever had was teaching music at West Point Elementary School from 2017-2019 where she also directed the school choir and musicals! 

Randee is passionate about the value the arts bring into our lives and is committed to bringing these opportunities to her friends and neighbors! She invites you to come and create with the West Point Arts Council!


Kristin Gneiting

Kristin Gneiting has been the Performing Arts Chair for West Point Arts Council since its creation in 2023. She grew up in Davis County and has lived in West Point since 2021.  Since a young age, Kristin has been very involved in the Performing Arts; playing the piano and saxophone in Bands, singing in Choirs and Vocal Jazz ensembles, and her favorite, performing in Theatre productions. She is a graduate of BYU-Idaho with a degree in Theatre and Speech Education and is a former Theatre teacher. She values education in the arts and co-founded and co-directed BYU-Idaho's Theater Summer Camp. 


Kristin's passion is to enrich community spaces with performing arts opportunities and experiences. She loves to be behind the scenes in Directing and Stage Managing to help all the pieces of a production come together. 


When not on stage or behind the scenes, Kristin loves reading, traveling, and hanging out with her amazing husband and sweet kids.



Liz Morris Liz Morris serves as the Treasurer for the West Point Arts Council. She enjoys the small town feel of West Point City and has called it home for over 25 years. She was born in Louisiana and lived there until enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. She served a total of 23 years on active duty and in the reserves achieving the rank of E-9 and retiring as a Command Chief Master Sergeant. While juggling military service, the demands of a full-time career, and family responsibilities, she graduated from Park College with a degree in Management and Computer Information Systems. Liz is currently winding down her federal career with the Department of Defense where she has had a significant amount of responsibility and success managing diverse programs such as budget formulation and execution, personnel management, and policy development. 

Liz enjoys reading, crocheting, and traveling the world; but the things that bring her the most joy are spending time with her family and friends and helping others. Additionally, she enjoys quiet time with her husband and finding strange ways to make him smile every day. 

Juli Beesley Juli Beesley is the Publicity Chair on the West Point Arts Council since its creation in 2023. She has been a resident of West Point City for 15 years with her husband and four children. Juli is currently working on her Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Accounting. She has instilled the love of music in her children and loves watching them perform in musicals, choir and orchestra. Juli enjoys playing guitar, singing/songwriting, reading, canning, and spending time with her family.


Lauren TesoroLauren Tesoro has been the Visual Arts Chair for the West Point Arts Council since 2023. A California native, she moved to Utah 5 years ago and has called West Point home for the last 2 years. Throughout high school, Lauren participated in marching band playing tenor saxophone and was part of the school's Pipe band playing bagpipes. She received her MA in Art History from the University of California Riverside in 2021 with a focus on Italian Futurism. Throughout her education, she most enjoyed the opportunities she had to work in a variety of museums. Lauren loves taking part in the arts and enjoys being able to share activities with the community. In her free time, Lauren enjoys reading, knitting, hiking and exploring all Utah has to offer.
