Courtesy Notice

A courtesy notice is often given to let a resident know that a code violation was observed on their property. A courtesy notice is not a citation. It gives the resident an opportunity to voluntarily correct the violation before any further action is taken. If no action is taken to abate the violation, the City may issue a more formal Notice of Ordinance violation.

If you have any questions about a courtesy notice you received, contact the Code Enforcement officer at 801-776-0970.
