West Point Arts Council
Meet the Members:
Randee Bereece is the founding chairperson of the West Point Arts Council which was officially formed in 2023! She has lived in West Point for ten years and grew up right next door in Syracuse. She attended Clearfield High School where she performed in the band (oboe), jazz band (piano), pep band (bass drums/conductor) and accompanied the theater programs. She received her Bachelor of Music Degree from Utah State University where she studied piano and guitar pedagogy, choral conducting, and composition. One of the coolest jobs she ever had was teaching music at West Point Elementary School from 2017-2019 where she also directed the school choir and musicals!

Kristin Gneiting has been the Performing Arts Chair for West Point Arts Council since its creation in 2023. She grew up in Davis County and has lived in West Point since 2021. Since a young age, Kristin has been very involved in the Performing Arts; playing the piano and saxophone in Bands, singing in Choirs and Vocal Jazz ensembles, and her favorite, performing in Theatre productions. She is a graduate of BYU-Idaho with a degree in Theatre and Speech Education and is a former Theatre teacher. She values education in the arts and co-founded and co-directed BYU-Idaho's Theater Summer Camp.
Kristin's passion is to enrich community spaces with performing arts opportunities and experiences. She loves to be behind the scenes in Directing and Stage Managing to help all the pieces of a production come together.
When not on stage or behind the scenes, Kristin loves reading, traveling, and hanging out with her amazing husband and sweet kids.
Liz Morris serves as the Treasurer for the West Point Arts Council. She enjoys the small town feel of West Point City and has called it home for over 25 years. She was born in Louisiana and lived there until enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. She served a total of 23 years on active duty and in the reserves achieving the rank of E-9 and retiring as a Command Chief Master Sergeant. While juggling military service, the demands of a full-time career, and family responsibilities, she graduated from Park College with a degree in Management and Computer Information Systems. Liz is currently winding down her federal career with the Department of Defense where she has had a significant amount of responsibility and success managing diverse programs such as budget formulation and execution, personnel management, and policy development.
Liz enjoys reading, crocheting, and traveling the world; but the things that bring her the most joy are spending time with her family and friends and helping others. Additionally, she enjoys quiet time with her husband and finding strange ways to make him smile every day.
